Q: Is there a contact in Mexico who can assist me?

Should you have any additional questions about the wedding weekend or Los Cabos, please feel free to reach contact our wedding planning team directly at weddings@signaturemexico.com! They will be more than happy to assist you.

Q: What is the temperature like?
Daytime highs are around 75 degrees and the weather is sunny from November through April. The temperature typically varies from 59°F to 94°F over the course of the year and it rarely reaches temperatures below 53°F or above 98°F.

Q: Do I need to take any special safety precautions in Mexico?
First and foremost, it is important to keep in mind that Los Cabos and the state of Baja California Sur are physically separated from those northern US/Mexico border cities especially identified in the Travel Warning by the nearly 1000-mile long Baja Peninsula and the Sea of Cortes. This isolated setting protects Los Cabos from other areas of Mexico that may be regarded as unsafe. In fact, Los Cabos provides vacationers with a highly sought sense of being in an island-like sanctuary. However, you should take the regular safety precautions that you would in any vacation destination.

Q: What activities are available while we being in Mexico?

Cabo offers world-renowned fishing and scuba diving or snorkeling. You can catch a charter boat right from town to experience these water activities. In addition to water activities, there is great golf and tennis that can be arranged by your hotel. Los Cabos also has amazing spa options, and our very top 3 spas are in Esperanza, Palmilla & Capella.

To book activities, our best suggestion would be to book thru Cabo Adventures here is the link for your reference, they offer a large variety of options. We also like wild Canyon, with a little more extreme options

Going to San Lucas and visiting the arch is a classic tour, you can make it as casual or as organized as you wish.  Day tours typically include snorkeling, lunch, and drinks. Sunset tours have a sightseeing and cocktails option.

Q: Any restaurant recommendations?

 San Lucas Restaurants

Hacienda Cocina & Cantina - always a great place, with delicious food and margaritas

Las Gardenias – this is a great fish & shrimp tacos place – super casual – favorite of locals and visitors, located in san lucas on the street where McDonalds is and on the way to the beach. Great for lunch!

Corridor San Lucas – San Jose Restaurants

One of the favorites is Toro, By Richard Sandoval. It is located right at the entrance of Esperanza resort

Manta by Enrique Olvera – located at The Cape resort, one of the newest properties in the area

Blue Fish – located at the Palmilla Shoppes the best ceviches in town, great option for lunch too open from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm

San José Restaurants

Flora Farms – this is a classic,  organic food, the place itself is special and magic. Great option for either lunch or dinner. Highly recommended to make reservations ahead of time.

For a more casual experience, we love La Lupita it is a “small” place located in downtown San José. It offers great traditional Mexican tacos presented in a more upscale way.

One&Only Palmilla has now a new restaurant called Seared,  the reviews are amazing, just know is on the pricey side

*****USD currency is welcomed at all places, no need to exchange money into pesos, however keep in mind that exchange rate might vary form place to place, right now should be something between 17 to 18 pesos per USD.
